Dr Ronald Dellanno
President
Dr. Ronald Dellanno is the President of Cervigard Spinal Bracing Corporation and the inventor of its technologies. Dr Dellanno has spent much of his 42 years of professional service in the study and prevention of spinal injuries and the trauma from whiplash. Dr. Dellanno serves and trains Doctors of Chiropractic in the subject field of Spinal Bio-Physics. He is Director of the Dellanno Family Chiropractic Center, one of the largest chiropractic clinics in New Jersey.
He is a contributing author in the text, “Whiplash” published in 2002 and has been an editor of a national professional Chiropractic journal, serving numerous professional organizations. Dr Dellanno coordinated and consulted in a study of whiplash prevention at Wayne State University around the concepts of protecting the human neck curve during rear end collisions. He consulted on the development on one of the world’s first human finite element model that was verified by cadaver crash tests using a contoured head / neck restraint for full seat testing capabilities. This was one of the first testing tools that accurately reflected what happens to human spines as they are injured in collisions.
Dr. Dellanno also invented the Cervigard Anti-IED Smart Seat, which is designed to mitigate brain and spinal cord injuries to soldiers and law enforcement personnel. He directed a team of physicists and engineers in development of a computer model demonstrating the effects of mitigating blast forces utilizing the Anti-IED Smart Seat.
The development for the Cervigard Forward Head Posture Collar began in 2009. Since then, the collar has been introduced to numerous organizations and helped countless patients. The collar is currently being tested with a team of doctors and therapists at Walter Reed Military Hospital for potential use for soldiers and veterans who suffer from neck pain.
Dr Christa Pescatore
Medical Director
Dr. Christa Pescatore has been a practicing chiropractor since 1996 and works alongside her father, Dr. Ronald Dellanno, in his practice. She is a Medical Director for Cervigard Spinal Bracing Corporation and has attended numerous seminars and conventions around the country, educating fellow chiropractors on the benefits that the Cervigard Forward Head Posture Collar will have on their patients.
Dr. Pescatore has participated in every case study done during the developmental stages of the Cervigard Forward Head Posture Collar and now works directly with patients during their plan of care.
Dr Michael Dellanno
Medical Director
Dr. Michael Dellanno has been a chiropractor in New Jersey for over twenty years and has grown an incredibly successful practice at the Dellanno Family Chiropractic Center. The focus for his practice is spinal correction and postural rehabilitation, for which the Cervigard Forward Head Posture collar has been instrumental in helping patients achieve the results they look for.
Dr. Michael Dellanno is currently a Medical Director for Cervigard Spinal Bracing Corporation and has been an integral part of the development of the Cervigard Forward Head Posture collar.
Dr Gerard Malanga

Gerard Malanga, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, sports medicine, and pain medicine. Currently serving patients throughout the Cedar Knolls community at New Jersey Regenerative Institute in New Jersey, Dr. Malanga has been treating patients for more than 30 years. A founder and partner of New Jersey Regenerative Institute, Dr. Malanga is an expert in nonsurgical treatments for pain management of a variety of orthopedic disorders, including neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, and other sport medicine and musculoskeletal conditions. Some of his specialties include EMG testing, spinal and joint injections, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatment for joint pain.
Dr. Malanga has contributed to the development and testing of the Cervigard Forward Head Posture Collar since it’s creation. He has worked closely with Dr. Ronald Dellanno for many years and has implemented use of the Cervigard Forward Head Posture Collar within his practice.

Our Company
Cervigard is a New Jersey company founded by Dr. Ronald Dellanno. Based on his experience with patients experiencing severe neck pain, he developed the Cervigard FHP collar. Experience with early prototypes was very positive and this resulted in further development of the collar in order to make it available to a wider range of patients.
