Injured playing ice hockey, suffered for 2 years with neck/shoulder/elbow/hand pain -January 2022
Andrew Friedman's original treatment program of care included multiple CBP mirror image spinal adjustments followed by 20 minutes of using the Cervigard Collar to remodel his head/neck ligament complex. This care plan lasted for a period of 4 months. Below are his pre-treatment X-ray before wearing the Cervigard Collar and his correction potential X-ray while wearing the Cervigard Collar.
A follow up examination after 14 months shows the patient continues to do well in his recovery from a C5/6 herniated disc. He is symptom free with a neck pain index of zero. He stated he wears the Cervigard Collar at least 5 days per week to feel his best.
Also below are the patients comments from December 2020 describing his injury, symptoms and improvement shortly after he began using the Cervigard Collar.
Patient's comments
"I hurt myself playing ice hockey and have suffered for 2 years with neck/shoulder/elbow/hand pain. It’s been very disruptive to my life. I’ve been using the Cervigard for 2 weeks now and the improvement is shocking. I have zero pain in my shoulder/elbow/hand. I am virtually without any discomfort in my neck. I’m optimistic the improvement will achieve 100%. I was initially skeptical only because my discomfort was so significant that I couldn’t appreciate how wearing a brace for 20 minutes a day could have such a great positive impact. I was badly mistaken. I am now feeling really great. Thank you so much for all the good care."
In his pre-treatment X-ray he has a degenerated C5/6 disc space with an MRI confirmed herniation at that level. There is a loss of cervical lordosis in the mid cervical spine as well.
The correction potential X-ray below with the Cervigard Collar fully adjusted shows correction of his cervical lordosis and over correction of FHP. We reduced his FHP correction and just deployed a full lordosis fulcrum for his daily use at home.
